PURPOSE: To form the whole unit to be compactly finished, by embedding the bottom halved part of a bearing in a bed and connecting the bearing with joint bolts serving in common to mounting bolts of the whole unit so that height of the axial center is decreased to a minimum limit.

CONSTITUTION: A bearing 1 has in its upper halved part 1a and bottom halved part 1b respectively flanges 1c, 1d. And said bottom halved part 1b is embedded in a condition that it is sunk in a hole provided in a bed 4 further connected with it in a condition that the flanges 1c, 1d are mounted onto the edge of the bed 4 using bolts 6 serving in common to the bolts for tightening the flanges 1c, 1d. Further the bed 4 provides in its part, onto which the flanges 1c, 1d are mounted, a threaded seat. Accordingly, the flanges 1c, 1d for tightening the upper halved part 1a and the bottom halved part 1b of the bearing 1 are left as serving for a leg part supporting the whole unit of a bearing device to be mounted onto the bed 4.
