Abstract:
PURPOSE:To a bearing coolable without increasing any energy loss therefrom, by installing a cooling flow passage in each stationary ring of both inner and outer rings, while letting a cooling medium take away heat from the bearing. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil is discributed to a nozzle 17 and a lubricating oil path 18, respectively. The lubricating oil spouted out of the nozzle 17 flows into the inside of a bearing 5 through a clearance between a holding member 3 and an inner ring 2, and lubricates a contact surface between a rolling element 4 and an outer ring 1 or an inner ring 2. The lubricating oil entered into the lubricating path 18 flows in a groove 9, absorbing heat from the outer ring 1, and is discharged out of a drain oil port 19. Therefore, a temperature rise in the bearing 5 is checkable without increasing any energy loss.
