Abstract:

To provide new bellows for the optical path of a laser cutting machine which requires no operation of arranging a special sheet material such as a reflection sheet at all and can be manufactured in a short time at a low cost, and a method for manufacturing the bellows for the optical path of a laser cutting machine.

A plurality of laminated sheet bodies are integrally bent, thus hill parts and valley parts are alternately formed, and the angles of the hill parts and the valley parts are changed, thus the overall length is made freely elongate and contract. Regarding the inside sheet body located at the innermost part, a protective layer made of a stock absorbing or reflecting laser beams which deflect or flashback and protecting the inside sheet body or made of a stock absorbing or reflecting the laser beams and protecting the inside sheet body is formed at the inside face. Further, at the inside sheet body, projecting piece parts are formed. Each projecting piece part further automatically projects to the inside than the apex of each valley by being integrally bent with the other sheet body in such a manner that the hill parts and the valley pares are alternatively formed.
