PURPOSE: To enhance workability of clamping an object to be bundled and tightening the same by forming downwardly an open part for receiving a belt body in the interior of an engaging part and forming an engaging rib for engaging with each engaging protrusion of the belt body in the interior of the open part so that the belt body can pass through the engaging rib when it is clamped.
CONSTITUTION: A wire harness is set on a holding part 12 and, while winding a belt body 30 around the outer periphery of the wire harness, a part of the belt body 30 is hooked to an open part 21 of an engaging part 20 to clamp the belt body 30 as it is. By this method, the belt body 30 rides over a protruding piece and is inserted from the open part 21 toward the interior of the engaging part 20, and one of engaging protrusions 32 is engaged with an engaging rib 23, whereby the wire harness is clamped with the belt body 30. When the belt body 30 is further clamped under this clamped state, the tightening of a belt clamp simply becomes possible because each engaging protrusion 32 of the belt body 30 passes successively through the engaging rib 23, and a predetermined place is not touched with worker's hand.
