PURPOSE: To enable to receive goods to be transported within appropriate bag- shaped slackenings of a belt and effect an efficient transportation without utilizing any bucket by a means wherein a plurality of rods are arranged in parallel on an endless belt of an elastic material and respective rods are connected to endless chains.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of rods 2 are attached at proper distances to an endless belt 1 of an elastic material such that both of the ends of the rods are being projected from the marginal portions of the belt 1. Both of the ends of the rods 2 are attached to endless chains 3 which are mounted on sprocket wheels 4AW4F and a tightener 6 so as to be driven endlessly. In driving ranges A-B, B-C, chains 5, attached with nails and driven by sprocket wheels 7, are provided in order to control the distances between the rods 2. According to this method, the belt 1 is slackened by being supported with the rods 2 in the range A-B, and goods to be transported, thrown from a throw-in port 9, are received within these slackenings while the belt 1 is returned to a flat condition in the range C-D and the goods are discharged from a discharging port 10.
