To reduce the lack of belt nipping force by a speed change, sharply reduce the generation of belt slip, and ensure the durability by providing a belt side pressure control mechanism on a drive pulley side, and providing a speed change control mechanism on a driven pulley side.
The speed change control of a continuously variable transmission 6A is performed by a speed change control mechanism 32A provided on the driven pulley 10A side of the continuously variable transmission 6A. Namely, a driven side movable pulley piece 24A is axially moved by the rotation of the variable speed motor 36A of the speed change control mechanism 32A, and the rotating radius on the driven pulley 10A side is increased and decreased according to the axial movement of the driven side movable pulley piece 24A, and the rotating radius on a drive pulley 8A side is increased and decreased. A belt side control mechanism 34A generates a belt nipping force according to the torque value added to a torque cam. The belt side pressure control mechanism 34A is provided on the drive pulley 8A side, and the speed change control mechanism 32A is provided on the driven pulley 10A side, whereby the lack of belt nipping force caused by speed change can be reduced.
