Abstract:

To provide a belt width dimension measuring instrument capable of determining the abrasion quantity even in the case of a V-belt wherein the corner parts on the belt back side are trimmed to form rising parts.

This belt width dimension measuring instrument 10 is used for measuring the dimension in the belt width direction of the V-belt. The belt width dimension measuring instrument 10 is equipped with a pair of clamping members 12, 15 for clamping the V-belt in the belt width direction, and a holding member 11 for holding the pair of the clamping members 12, 15 so that the members can be relatively moved in the clamping direction of the V-belt. The pair of the clamping members 12, 15 is constituted so that, when clamping the V-belt, each of them abuts on the belt side surface formed in a tapered shape, to thereby regulate the movement.
