Abstract:
To provide a berthing speedometer and a berthing speed measurement system capable of measuring the berthing speed of a ship even in bad weather.SOLUTION: A berthing speedometer 100 measures the berthing speed of a ship approaching a quay. The berthing speedometer 100 includes a millimeter-wave sensor 110 installed on the quay that repeatedly measures distances from the quay to a bow and a stern of the ship, and a control device 120 that is communicably connected to the millimeter-wave sensor 110 and calculates berthing speeds of the bow and the stern of the ship with respect to the quay based on the distances from the quay to the bow and the stern of the ship measured by the millimeter wave sensor 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
