Abstract:

To provide a biaxial actuator drive circuit electrically eliminating an effect due to high order resonance of a biaxial actuator of an optical pickup.

A notch filter 13 making the high order resonance point of the biaxial actuator in the optical pickup a central frequency is inserted into the servo loop of the biaxiai actuator, and a Q variable circuit 14a varying the Q of the notch filter 13 is provided, and the Q is made variable, and an optimum gain margin is obtained. Since the gain of the notch filter is changed when the Q is changed, a gain variable circuit 14b and a gain compensation amplifier circuit IC6 compensating tire gain of tire notch filter 13 interlocked with the Q variable circuit 14a are provided. A disturbance signal is supplied from a disturbance signal generator 15 generating the disturbance signal of the cut-off frequency fc of the servo loop and a resonance frequency f02 at which a higher-order resonance frequency becomes a peak to the IC6, and levels of an e1 and an e2 are decided by a level decision circuit 17, and the Q and the gain of the IC6 are set in.
