Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improvement on a fastener component consisting of a fastener main body on which a jaw part is supported for holding an end of a ski boot. CONSTITUTION: A jaw part 8 is vertically movable and its vertical motion is transmitted to a return spring of the jaw part 8, which makes compensation for a backward fall. A sole of the boot is supported between a supporting plate 25 and a sole holder of the jaw part 8. The supporting plate 25 is mounted movably about a horizontal axis in the longitudinal direction so that a twist of the boot may elevate the jaw part 8 and actuate compensation means.
