Abstract:

To provide a biodegradable resin aqueous dispersion which is usable as a coating application for a textile and a paper product and permits the improving of such properties as water resistance, oil resistance and air tightness of the textile and the paper product as well as which has a stable dispersibility without reducing the biodegradability of the textile and the paper product.

This biodegradable resin aqueous dispersion is an aqueous dispersion in which a biodegradable resin is dispersed in water, and the aqueous dispersion contains a chemically modified starch-based biodegradable resin as a biodegradable resin, and also contains as a dispersion stabilizer a cationic polymer compound with an average molecular weight of 300,000 or more, or an anionic polymer compound with an average molecular weight of 300,000 or more.
