Abstract:
To provide a biogas generation system capable of efficiently performing heating and dehumidifying of biogas.SOLUTION: A biogas generation system 10 includes a fermenter 11, a storage tank 13, and a heat pump 20. The fermenter 11 generates biogas by fermenting a biomass feedstock. A storage tank 13 stores the biogas generated in the fermenter 11. The heat pump 20 uses at least a part of the biogas generated in the fermenter 11 as a working medium, and heats the fermenter 11 and cools the biogas by using compression and expansion of the working medium and exchange of heat. The heat pump 20 includes a compression section 21 that compresses the biogas and discharges the gas toward the fermenter 11 and an expansion section 23 that expands the biogas and discharges the gas toward the storage tank 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
