By attaching a flexible ring-shape piezoelectric sensor 5 around the prescribed part of a living body, at least one part of the sensor 5 always contacts the living body directly or always contacts the living body through clothes or the like indirectly. In this way, at least one of the signal of body motion generated by the heart beat of the living body, the signal of body motion generated by the respiration of the living body or the signal of body motion generated by the body motion of the living body can be sensed based on the output signal of the sensor 5, and the biological information can be sensed reliably without depending on the state of mounting the sensor.
