Title:
BIOPSY FORCEPS FOR ENDOSCOPY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3634655
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the mucous tissue breakage to minimize the bleeding by forming a sheath by use of a material never twisting about the axis over the whole length, and providing a member for rotating the sheath about the axis on or around an operation part.
SOLUTION: Two coil pipes formed by closely winding a stainless steel thin wire in a fixed diameter are radially doubly superposed substantially without clearance to form a sheath 1. The inside and outside coil pipes are wound in mutually reverse directions. Thus, since the outside coil pipe is contracted in diameter even if the sheath 1 is rotated in the direction of extending the inside coil, the rotating directions are mutually cancelled, and the sheath 1 shows perfect rotating follow-up property without torsion. A rotating operation pin 30 is protrusively provided in the vicinity of the sheath 1-connecting part of an operation part body 21 to form a means for rotating the sheath 1 about the axis. According to this, the mucous tissue breakage and bleeding can be prevented.
