Title:
BLACK-AND-WHITE SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL, PHOTOGRAPHING UNIT AND BLACK-AND-WHITE IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09288323
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain the black-and-white silver halide photosensitive material adapted to the negative-positive color development processing system and superior in image storage stability by incorporating a silver halide emulsion for forming developed silver low in bleachability.

This black-and-white silver halide photosensitive material contains a silver halide emulsion forming the developed silver low in bleachability and this low bleachable silver is not pertectly bleached in a bleaching process or a bleach-fixing process in the usual color development processes within the standard processing time and at least 30% of the developed silver formed during the development processing. The black-and-white silver halide photosensitive material containing such an emulsion forms after exposure of a metallic silver image by the usual black-and-white development processing and likewise by the color development processing. It is preferred that the silver halide emulsion grains forming the low bleachable developed silver is a mixture of panchromatically sensitized photosentive silver halide grains and nonphotosensitive fine silver halide grains.
