PURPOSE: To enable a thin strip-shaped blade to be easily attached to the difined position inside a groove in a rotary machining barrel by torcibly pushing a wedge block tapering toward the bottom of the groove onto the bottom so as to apply lateral pushing power to a blade retaining block so that a blade may be pressed and fixed to the side face of the groove.
CONSTITUTION: The back face 12A of a blade retaining block 12 inclines toward the bottom of a groove so that the width of the block increases in relation to the side face 2A of the groove, and a wedge block 13 has its both side faces inclined so that they can make surface contact with the back face 12A of the blade retaining block 12 and the side face 2A of the groove opposite thereto respectively, and is forcibly pushed to the bottom of the groove by means by clamping bolt 14 with is provided with a hexagon hole so that it can be turned from upside. The bolt 14 is screwed tightly so as to forcibly push the wedge block 13 between the back face 12A of the blade retaining block 12 and the side face 2A of the groove opposite thereto. Then, lateral pushing power is applied to the blade retaining block 12 in form of a wedge effect and a machining blade 3 can be easily and securely fixed.
