Abstract:
The blade material cutting device of the invention can be employed for producing a blade material (1) that is to be used as a punching blade. The blade material cutting device has: a stationary blade part (10) having a pair of front and rear support faces (13) ... on which a strip plate part (2) and a blade edge part (3) of the blade material (1) are to be overlaid, and which are placed with being separated from each other by a gap in a direction F of feeding the blade material (1); a pair of opposed front and rear stationary edges (13a) and (15a) which are disposed in the pair of support faces (13) ...; a movable blade part (50) which is extracted and retracted with respect to the mutual gap (51) between the pair of support faces (13) ...; and a pair of front and rear movable edges which are disposed in the movable blade part (50). When the blade material (1) is overlaid on the support faces (13) and the movable blade part (50) is then moved as indicated by an arrow (b), a disposal portion (1c) of the blade material (1) is cut away, and the shapes of the front and rear ends of the blade material (1) is not bent but is maintained to the original shape.
