PURPOSE: To correct blurring by displaying the waveform of the blurring with an approximate curve, for correcting the blurring of an image occurring due to the movement, vibration, etc., of an object and a photographing device, and predicting the blurring during an exposure according to the approximate curve.

CONSTITUTION: When the blurring of a camera is detected by a focus detecting optical system 12, the output signal of the blurring from the focus detecting optical system 12 is stored in the blurring signal storage part of the outside of a CPU 15. The blurring during the exposure is predicted, at least, through the use of the blurring of two points in time, based on the blurring stored in the blurring signal storage part. Then, the CPU 15 controls an exposing time setting part 23 and a vibration isolator 24, based on the predicted blurring output, to correct or eliminate the blurring of a photographed image.
