Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headboard body for a bed which makes it possible to provide a plate for placing goods such as small articles.
SOLUTION: The headboard body 15 for the bed is provided with a board plate 17, support members 18 which are provided at the opposite ends in the direction of the width of the board plate so that the upper end parts thereof are protruded in prescribed dimensions from the upper end of the board plate, a lateral rod 21 which is laid between the upper end parts of the paired supports members projecting from the upper end of the board plate, a bracket 22 in one end of which a hook 23 engaging with the lateral rod is formed, in the other end of which a contact part 26 being in contact with the plate surface of the board plate is formed and in the middle part of which a support part 24 provided with an engaging member 27 is formed, and the placing plate 31 on the lower side of which an engaging recess 33 engaging with the engaging member is formed and which is placed removably on the support part of the bracket with the engaging recess made to engage with the engaging member.
