PURPOSE: To provide a boat capable of traveling at high speed by moving sculls without impeding propulsion efficiency in the boat using the sculls.

CONSTITUTION: A manipulator holds commode handles 20, 21 and moves these commode handles 20, 21 laterally in the vertical direction to the proceeding direction of a boat. In association with the lateral movement of these commode handles 20, 21, upper drive rods 18, 19 and lower drive rods 12, 13 are moved laterally in the same way. Sculls 10, 11 connected to the tip parts of the lower drive rods 12, 13 are thereby moved, that is, oscillated laterally around the tip parts as cardinal points. The sculls 10, 11 receive water resistance because of being oscillated laterally so as to be inclined aslant. With the lateral oscillation and alternately different direction inclination of these sculls 10, 11, driving force is generated to a boat body part 1, and boat moves ahead.
