To improve controlling performance of inclination of a body a maintaining property of a body inclining device in comparison with a conventional one, and to downsize the body inclining device.
The body inclining device 4 of a railway rolling stock 1 is integrally furnished with a hydraulic cylinder 62, an accumulator 61, a hydraulic circuit 63, a hydraulic pump 63f, an electric motor 63g, etc. The hydraulic cylinder 62 is a double acting cylinder having a cylinder main body 62a free to introduce working oil to both end parts 62b, 62c and is devised to incline the body 3 by expansion. The hydraulic circuit 63 is devised to circulate the working oil between the hydraulic cylinder 62 and the accumulator 61. The hydraulic circuit 63 is furnished with a circulating pipe 63b to directly circulate the working oil between the both end parts 62b, 62c of the cylinder main body 62a. The circulating pipe 63b is provided with a circulating valve 63d free to open and close and an orifice 63e.
