To provide a book holder capable of enabling a person to easily read a book at a desk or in a lying state by mounting a rear stopper provided with a handle on a lower part of a pole, mounting a reading lamp on an upper part of the pole, and mounting clips respectively provided with stoppers on the left and right of the pole.

A rear stopper 2 provided with a handle 6 is mounted on a lower part of a pole 1. A reading lamp 3 is rotatably mounted on an upper part of the pole 1, and holes or hooks for hanging are formed on both ends of the reading lamp 3 or the pole 1. Clips 5 provided with the stopper 4 are movably mounted at the left and right of the pole 1. A braid 7 for supporting a weight of a book is mounted on a center of the rear stopper 2. When a person reads a book in a lying state, the opened book is placed on the rear stopper 2, the left and right upper parts of the book are held by the clips 5, and approximately 10 pages to be read are held by the stopper 4. Both ends of the pole is suspended by the hooks and the like, an angle is adjusted by the handle 6, and the turned page is inserted and held in the other stopper for reading. When a book holder is used on a desk, the handle 6 is accomodated, and the reading stand 3 is standed.
