This bookrest is constituted of a mount board 1 having a page pusher 3, a support rod 4, a leg pedestal 7 and an inclination support rod 6. The direction of the mount board 1 can be adjusted and set from obliquely upward to obliquely downward. The page pusher 3 is formed of a transparent material.
