An input device 105, a machine that is subjected to remote start from preliminarily stored remote information, a device to be started and an OS to be started are designated on a remote computer device (controlling side) 100. Further, a start signal is generated based on information designated by a signal generating means 102 and is transmitted by a signal transmitter 101. A signal transmitted through a communicating means 300 is received by a signal receiver 201 and is analyzed by a signal analyzing means 202 on a remote computer device (controlled side) 200, and when it is information to a self, it is analyzed up to system start information. System start set information stored in a system start set information holding device is changed based on the analyzed information. After power is thrown in, a device and an OS are selected when they are started based on an information holding device 203 and the system is started.
