A

To provide an inexpensive and simple bottle inspection device to detech whether or not the periphery of a bottle is a desired circular shape.

A bottle 14 is rotated with an axis B-B as the center at an inspecting position by a rotor 15, and a raser source 16 forms a beam spot on the surface of an inspected bottle by irradiating with a laser beam onto the axis of the bottle 14. A camera 20 images the beam spon on the surface of the inspected bottle at a prescribed angle against laser beam, and a controller 22 detects the fluctuation distance of the beam spot based on acquired image information and outputs the bottle exclusion signal to exclude the bottle when the fluctuation distance is over a prescribed threshold.
