To provide a bottom plate of a toilet seat, which is resistant to adhesion of soil, and can maintain good sanitary conditions over a long period of time.
This bottom plate 1 of the toilet seat 2, which serves as a member constituting a bottom surface part of the toilet seat 2, is integrated with the toilet seat 2 and used in a state of being placed on a toilet stool 3 so as to be capable of falling/rising. In the bottom plate 1, a plurality of protrusions 6 for shock absorption are protrusively provided on a bottom surface 5a of a plate ring-shaped bottom plate body 5 which is formed of a polypropylene resin, etc. Each of the protrusions 6 comprises: a plurality of base parts 5b which are protruded from the bottom surface 5a in such a manner as to have a long-truncated-cone shape; and an elastic cushioning rubber material 7 which is annexed to a top surface 5c of each of the base parts 5b. The bottom surface 5a, side surfaces of the base parts 5b and an exposed surface of the material 7 are wholly covered with a water-repellent layer 8.
