Abstract:
To provide a bow structure equipped with a damping effect capable of effectively preventing damage of the other ship in a collision, in regard to a ship having a bulbous bow.
In an outer shell member and an inner shell member composing the bulbous bow, when a member L has an angle of 45 degrees or less with respect to a ship longitudinal horizontal direction, and a member W has an angle larger than 45 degrees with respect to the ship longitudinal horizontal direction, a steel product with a yield strength of 120-400 MPa being lower than that of the member W is used as the member L.
