PURPOSE: To easily and inexpensively produce a braille display board and to enable mass production as well by irradiating a photosetting resin with UV rays through an original film from below this resin to cure the photosetting resin, thereby forming the braille display board.
CONSTITUTION: The UV rays transmit the original film 5 from only the transparent part 51 and are not transmitted from an opaque part when the resin layer 2 is irradiated with the UV rays 6 from a UV lamp through the original film 5 and a substrate. Then, the resin layer 2 is exposed and photoset only within the round shape as shown by a solid line 7. The quantity of the light of the UV rays 6 transmitted through the original film 5 is larger nearer the central part of the transparent part 51 and, therefore, the resin layer 2 is photoset to a semicircular shape as shown by a code 7 and the braille 8 is formed. The UV rays 6 are shielded by the opaque part 52 of the original film 5 and substantially prevented from arriving at the resin layer 2 at the outside of the solid line 7 and, therefore, the resin layer of this part is not photoset. Next, only the desired braille part remains when the resin layer 2 is processed by a developer. The desired braille display board is thus obtd.
