PURPOSE: To reduce signal lines laid between electric cars by obtaining a necessary pneumatic brake force command based on a brake command value and a deceleration signal obtained by dividing the actual electric brake force by a response load signal in each car.
CONSTITUTION: A brake command amount generator 1 generates a brake force command amount based on brake commands SB1WSB3. On the other hand, an electric brake force actually effected by a regenerative brake circuit, i.e., M1 car torque and M2 car torque are respectively divided by dividers 6, 7 by M1 car response load signal and M2 response load signal and are converted to M1 car deceleration and M2 car deceleration. An adder 2 adds the M1 car deceleration and the M2 car deceleration. The deviation between the output of the generator 1 and the output of the adder 2 is converted by an A/D converter 4 into pneumatic brake commands SB1'WSB3', which are applied to the pneumatic brakes 5 of T car, M1 car and M2 car.
