Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a brake gear which achieves downsizing of the entire device and is devised so as to prevent exposure of operation sections other than an operation member to the outside.SOLUTION: A brake gear of a vehicle seat adjuster includes a driving mechanism part 10 and a brake mechanism part 9, and the driving mechanism part 10 and the brake mechanism part 9 have a common output shaft 12. The driving mechanism part 10 comprises: a driving wheel 18 having internal teeth 18b; a tooth plate 20 having external teeth 20d which mesh with the internal teeth 18b; a holding plate 19 which holds the tooth plate 20; an input lever 21; a torsional coil spring 22; a cover 23; a guide projection part 27 which is formed bending from the cover 23; and a lever bracket 24 serving as an operation member. Each of these elements of the driving mechanism part 10 is housed and disposed in the cover 23 butted with the brake mechanism part 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
