Title:
BRAKE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001301597
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To simplify the arrangement of a brake hydraulic pressure control device for a vehicle by avoiding the use of a reservoir, in the device having master cylinders for generating hydraulic pressures as the vehicle operator operates brake operating members and also having pumps capable of returning brake fluid from wheel brakes to the master cylinders, so that the device is capable of antilock control of the hydraulic pressure of the wheel brakes.

Normally open solenoid valves 5A and 5B which are closed under a reduced pressure state and under a state in which hydraulic pressure is maintained during the antilock control are provided between the master cylinders 2A and 2B and the wheel brakes BF and BR, and the pumps 7A and 7B which are actuated at least under the reduced pressure state during the antilock control have their intake sides connected with the wheel brakes BR and BF in such a manner that the brake fluid can be directly taken in from the wheel brakes BR and BF.
