Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an anti-skid equipped braking device for a four-wheel car and thereby prevent drop of the rear wheel side liquid pressure by actuating a plunger with the difference between liquid pressures in pipeline connecting the front wheel and rear wheel brakes, and by shutting pipeline from the low pressure side anti-skid device to the rear wheel brake. CONSTITUTION:In case the righthand anti-skid device 25 is actuated first in the event, e.g., of quick application of brakes, the anti-skid on the righthand brake system 14 is actuated, and the liquid pressure in a pipeline 18 connecting the righthand front wheel brake 16 to the lefthand rear wheel brake 17 is re duced, and the liquid pressure in the right side chamber 31 of the valve body 20 becomes lower than that in the left side chamber 32. Thus a plunger 29 moves to the right to allow a valve part 37a to shut a passage 33, and the pressure in the lefthand rear wheel brake 17 is retained. The liquid pressure in the chamber 31 is boosted to cause boosting of the liquid pressure of the left rear wheel brake 17 through pipeline 18b, and thus the liquid pressure on the brake system 14 rises. This accomplishes well balanced control.
