PURPOSE: To execute brazing so that a molten brazing filler metal does not flow down to the lower part by forming in advance many grooves extended in the axial direction on one or both of the outside peripheral surface of an insert end part of a cylindrical metallic material and the inside peripheral surface of a hole of another metallic material into which the metallic material concerned is inserted.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-like brazing material 12 is fitted in advance into a large diameter part formed in the part of a main pipe 2 insert side in a through-hole 9 of a throttle body fitting body 6. Also, on the outside peripheral surface of an insert end part 2a to the hole 9 of the fitting body 6 of the main pipe 2, many grooves 13 and projecting lines 14 of prescribed length extended in the axial direction are formed in advance alternately in the peripheral direction. Subsequently, the end part 2a of the main pipe 2 is brought to press fitting into the large diameter part 9a of the hole 9, and a combined body of the main pipe 2, a branch pipe 5, the fitting body 6 and a connecting member 7 is put into a furnace, and heated in an N2 gas atmosphere or a vacuum atmosphere by using a chlorine compound flux. Next, each connecting part containing the main pipe 2 and the fitting body 6 is brought to brazing in the lump. As a result, it is prevented that a molten brazing material flows down as mentioned above, and the generation of a fillet in the upper part of a joint part of two metallic materials is prevented.
