Title:
BRIDGE FLOOR SLAB
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6452902
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the thickness of a bridge deck by welding dowels to parts just above longitudinal ribs of the top side of a deck plate having the longitudinal ribs on the underside and fixing strong precast concrete slab to the deck plate by dowels.

CONSTITUTION: A steel plate 1 is comprised of a deck plate 2 and a longitudinal rib fixed to the underside of the deck plate 2. In addition, dowels 5 are welded to a plurality of positions at a prescribed interval just above the fixing position of the longitudinal rib 3 on the deck plate 2. On the other hand, a strong precast concrete slab 4 has holes 9 into which dowels 5 are inserted when laid on the deck plate 2 at the edges and the center. After the precast concrete slab 4 is laid over the deck plate 2, the concrete slab 4 is fixed to the plate 2 with dowels 5, thereby reducing the thickness of the bridge deck and reducing the weight of a bridge.
