Abstract:
To provide a tin oxide-containing material with a large surface area that is useful as a gas sensor.SOLUTION: A tin oxide-containing element includes a substrate, at least a pair of electrodes provided on the substrate, and a tin oxide-containing sheet. The tin oxide-containing sheet has a floating inner portion. The tin oxide-containing sheet comprises a central sheet portion formed of an aggregation of a plurality of nano sheet pieces of tin oxide, and a peripheral portion attached to at least a part of both surfaces of the central sheet portion and formed of an aggregation of a plurality of nano sheet pieces of tin oxide with a lower concentration than the concentration of the plurality of nano sheet pieces on the central sheet portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
