PURPOSE: To prevent the production of ghost images without using shield plate, aperture plate or the like by providing light diffusivity or light absorptivity to part or the whole of the inside surface of a frame plate.

CONSTITUTION: An optical system 1 for outside scenery is constituted by an objective lens 3 or 2-element constitution, a half mirror 4 and an eyepiece lens 5. On the other hand, an optical system 2 for frame is constituted by a frame lens 6, a frame mirror 7 and frame plate 8. The inside surface of the frame plate 8 is an emulsion surface 9 of a photosensitive film and its circumferential edge part is formed with an information part 10. Chemical light diffusion treatment or light absorptivity treatment is applied to the portions near the central part of the emulsion face 9. With such constitution, the light entered to the frame plate 8 is diffused or absorbed at the portions having light diffusivity or light absorptivity of the emulsion surface 9 and is not reflected as ghost light to the eyepiece lens 5 side. Thereby the ghost images are effectively removed.
