Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the number of mobile devices which are in a specific area and receive broadcast for the broadcast service.
SOLUTION: In a broadcast receivable mobile device number grasping system in which a broadcast control server 2 performing the broadcast service through an exchange 4 grasps the number of mobile devices 6 which receive the broadcast service in each distribution area 8, the exchange 4 is provided with a holding means which uses area information and a mobile device identifier in a message which is notified from the mobile devices 6 to the exchange 4 at a time of position registration and changing areas registered, and counts and holds a number of mobile devices 6 that receive the broadcast for each distribution area 8. The number of the mobile devices 6 is reported from the exchange 4 to the broadcast service control server 2. The broadcast service control server 2 distributes the broadcast service based on the number of the mobile devices 6.
