Abstract:
To provide a brushless DC motor used together with a fuel pump.
The brushless DC motor includes a housing (10), a stator (13) and a rotator (11) in the housing, winding on the stator, a sensor for detecting a position of the rotor with respect to the stator, and an electronic circuit for switching a current in the winding in response to the output of the sensor and rotating the rotor to the stator. The sensor and at least part of the electronic circuit are encapsulated and sealed in a container of the housing with the insulating material resistive to fuel.
