Abstract:
PURPOSE: To diversify a working space used for a bucket conveyor by supporting buckets having approximately triangular cross sections by means of support shafts to a pair of chains on both side wall parts so as to be put in turning motion freely, forming the front wall part and the rear wall part in an upward inclined shape under a suspended condition, and forming plural number of projection strips on both wall parts.
CONSTITUTION: A conveying means is composed of a pair of two chains 33 and 33, and plural number of buckets 35 are supported between these two chains 33 and 33. The buckets 35 are formed in their approximately triangular shape cross sections, and are model for example, with vinyl chloride resin in one united body by means of injection molding. In the buckets 35 provided with guide pieces 37 and chain installing pieces 38, shaft locking holes of the respective guide pieces 37 and chain installing pieces 38 are placed in coincidence with a pair of shaft locking units 41 and 41 formed in the two chains 33 at a prescribed interval. Since ribs are arranged in the buckets 35, even if it is a kind of adhesive article, it can be prevented from adhering onto the bottom wall and so on, so that bucket strength can be increased.
