PURPOSE: To enable filling, sealing, transferring and handling of bulk material in a nearly full automatic manner to improve work efficiency by filling bulk material of certain quantity into a bag from a silo and sealing the opening of the bag after the filling to transfer it.

CONSTITUTION: A bag 100 is moved to a point just under a silo by means of a motor truck 4 in such a manner that a fastener 100b is fixed to the upper end of a filling opening 100a of the bag and the internal periphery of the upper end of the bag 100 is pressed against the outer periphery of the lower end of a receiving port 4b of a packer 4a of the truck 4. The port 4b is then raised to bring the inner periphery of the port 4b into close contact with the outer periphery of a delivery port 1a. After certain quantity of material has been filled into the bag by means of a timer, the port 4b is lowered and separated from the packer 4a. The bag filled with material mounted on the truck 4 is moved to the position of a fastener close device 6. An electromagnet 56 of a closing machine 50 attracts an iron core 55 go that a handle 100c is held by an elastic rubber plate 54b adhered to the inner surface of the lower end of a chuck 54 and the fastener 100b is closed by the retracting motion of an air cylinder 59. The truck 4 carries the sealed bag to the end of a rail to unload it onto a carrier of a transportation car.
