Abstract:

To provide a bulkhead die forming method and a device, in which a uniform and perfect-shaped die member is formed even if it has a large area, and provide a die material mounting cylinder used for the device and bulkhead die forming.

This bulkhead die forming method includes a die material cylindrical forming process for transforming a plate-shaped die material 1 into a cylindrical shape, a cutting process that rotates the cylindrical die material around the axis of the cylinder, abuts a tool 3 for cutting and machining to a surface of the die material, moves the tool in parallel with the axis of the cylinder in synchronism with rotation, and cuts the cylindrical die material to form a given shaped bulkhead die, and a die material flatting process for transforming the cylindrical die material into a planar shape.
