Abstract:
To provide a safety device for a bulldozer capable of accurately detecting a person existing in a predetermined area around the bulldozer, as well as, of swiftly braking travel of a vehicle to stop the vehicle smoothly and safely when the person existing in the predetermined area is detected.SOLUTION: A safety device for a bulldozer comprises: a human-sensing sensor 11 for detecting the existence of any person within a predetermined area around the bulldozer; information processing means 13 for processing a signal output by the human-sensing sensor 11 to detect the existence of the person, and when the existence of the person is detected, transmitting a human-sensing signal S3 indicating the existence of the person; and braking means 13 for performing stepping-in operation and release operation of a brake pedal of a brake mechanism 14 on the basis of the human-sensing signal S3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
