Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve which can perform a self-aligning function when assembling a valve body while maintaining strength of a valve stem.SOLUTION: A butterfly valve includes: a housing 100; a valve stem 300 rotatably provided for the housing 100; and an almost disc-shaped valve body 400 which has a valve stem insertion hole 421 inserting the valve stem 300 and is fixed to the valve stem 300. The valve stem 300 has a first outer periphery plane part 311 and a second outer periphery plane part 312 where outer peripheries are formed linearly on a cross-section vertical to an axial line direction of the valve stem 300. The valve stem insertion hole 421 has a first inner peripheral plane part 421a and a second inner peripheral plane part 421b formed linearly at a position facing the first outer periphery plane part 311 and the second outer periphery plane part 312 on a cross-section vertical to the axial direction of the valve stem insertion hole 421. A first inner peripheral conical surface part 421c and a second inner peripheral conical surface part 421d are formed so that they have a clearance between themselves and the valve stem 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
