Abstract:
To provide a complex and an Nb3Sn superconductor dispensing with a barrier material and lowering material cost and a manufacturing method of them.
This is the Nb3Sn superconductor 9 composed of a center part 13 of Nb3Sn-system made by heat treatment of a mixture of tin bronze 10 and Nb 11, and a coated layer of bronze 12 directly formed on the outer circumference of this center part 13. Since this complex has no barrier material, it can dispense with a barrier-material expense which is said to be 10 to 20% and achieve a remarkable cost cut.
