Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the posture of a cab horizontal constantly, and to make the riding comfortability and the maneuvering stability compatible in an optimum condition, by providing a damping force control mechanism to convert the damping force corresponding to the road surface condition, to each of the cab suspensions at four positions which mount the cab.
SOLUTION: To each cab suspension of the suspensions 1 and 2 at four positions mounting a cab, a damping force control mechanism to convert the damping force corresponding to the road surface condition is provided. And damping force variable dampers 4 and 7 are provided to the damping force control mechanisms at the suspensions 1 and 2 sides, and the damping force variable dampers 4 and 7 are operated by actuators 5 and 8. To the actuators 5 and 8, adequate control signals are delivered by a control unit 12 corresponding to the sensor outputs from G sensors provided at the left and the right sides of the front, a G sensor 10 at the rear side, and a brake sensor 11. Consequently, the posture of the cab is maintained horizontal constantly, and the riding comfortability and the maneuvering stability can be made in the optimum condition concurrently.
