PURPOSE: To allow a rod to be deflected and prevent the rod or the like from being damaged when a cab is set to a normal running position in the captioned device (cab lifter) of a cab-over type truck by improving the structure of the rod support of the actuator in relation to the cab.

CONSTITUTION: With reqard to a contrivance where a cab 1 is revolved around the front pivot of a chassis 2 by extending and moving the rod 5 of a hydraulic actuator 4, a support 3 that supports 5 the top section of the rod 5 on the cab 1 is composed of a rotor 3a whose both ends are supported in the drilled holes 3j and 3k provided on both sides through a bearing material 3m and a pin 3b fit in a drilled hole 3c provided at the rotor 3a so as to have its axial center set in the direction perpendicular to the axial center of said rotor 3a. Besides, the above-mentioned rod 5 is fit in the drilled hole 3d that is provided at the pin 3b in the direction perpendicular to it. Moreover, a collar section 5a with a spherical rear surface 5b is formed on the rod 5. As a result, the collar section can engage with the receiver surface 3e of the support 3 when the cab 1 is slanted and moved.
