This is the cabinet for storing the electric and electronic apparatus, in which a damping member 3 made of a viscous elastic material is provided between an external cabinet and an inner one. The damping member 3 has a structure of an inner plate 10 and the viscous elastic members 9, 11 stacked in plural layers between a bottom plate 7 and a top plate 13. Load support members 14 of a pillar shape, which have surfaces in contact with the top and bottom plates 7, 13, are provided on the outside of the viscous elastic members 9, 11 of the inner plate 10.
