Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tool for connecting a cable to a pressure contact type connection used for electronic equipment and like.
CONSTITUTION: A cable connecting tool 1 for a connector is equipped with an insertion section 2 to which a cable is introduced, paired holding mechanisms 3 by which paired cable housings 80 and 81 for paired connectors provided at both the sides of the insertion section 2, are held, and with paired clamping mechanisms 4 which are detachably disposed above each holding mechanism 3 and have core wires pushed in the cable grooves 82 of the respective cable housings 80 and 81 so that connection is thereby made.
