Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cable cutter having a mechanism, which is free from problems such as the damage of the toggle mechanism due to too much opening of gripping levers and hand or finger caught between the levers due to too much closing of gripping levers.
CONSTITUTION: The cable cutter 1 comprises gripping levers 2, 3, a power mechanism 4 and a stopper 8. When the gripping levers 2, 3 are closed or when the gripping levers 2, 3 are opened, the stopper 8 stops operation of the power mechanism 4 before the degree of the closing or opening reaches each limit.
