To provide a cable shielding tape which has high conductivity and permeability.

Both sides of a tape main body 1 of high permeability are plated with a copper layer 2. The tape main body 1 of high permeability is formed of permalloy, silicon steel, or stainless steel and about 10μm thick. The high-permeability tape main body 1 is plated with a copper layer 2, so that it has high conductivity and permeability excellent cutoff characteristics in both a low-frequency and a high-frequency components of radio waves. Therefore, it is required that various kinds of tape are wound on a cable. The copper layer 2 is formed on the tape main body 1 by plating. So that it is deformed conforming to the deformation of the high-permeability material 1. Therefore, when a cable shielding tape is actually wound on a cable, the cable is improved in flexibility as compared with one wound with a conventional tape.
